Google generally doesn’t issue more than one patch between major previews, but the unavailability of the Beta Feedback app for new users necessitated Beta 3.1, which arrived only two days after Beta 3.

Beta 3.2 features “the most recent bug fixes and enhancements to stability and performance,” according to the release notes. This update explicitly addresses five Android 13 issues:

  1. Fixed an issue where the back gesture wasn’t working in some apps.
  2. Fixed an issue where the At a glance settings page would collapse inconsistently when scrolling.
  3. Fixed an issue where some apps would crash instantly on opening.
  4. Fixed an issue where the microphone would turn on and off unexpectedly during unrelated use of the device.
  5. Fixed an issue where the Google Photos app would crash frequently.

Although Google hasn’t encountered extensive complaints about these issues, they are mostly application and user-facing.

Factory images for Android 13 Beta 3.2 build TPB3.220513.017.B1 (as opposed to TPB3.220513.017.B1) are now available. The OTA size for a Pixel 4a is 238MB.
