Budget Samsung FE 4G Edition Spotted on Bluetooth Certification
The Samsung S20 FE, Samsung’s first-ever Fan Edition smartphone, was introduced in 2020. Fast forward to January, and the Galaxy S21 FE eventually makes its debut, albeit only in a single edition, with the Snapdragon 888 at the wheel.

We figured there wouldn’t be any 4G variant of the S21 FE because 5G networks are becoming increasingly common throughout the world, and even mid-range smartphones now come with 5G compatibility as standard. Samsung, on the other hand, appears to want to stun us, so it’s working on a 4G version of the Galaxy S21 FE.
Samsung FE 4G Edition Spotted on Bluetooth Certification
The ordinary Galaxy S21 FE has the model number SM-G990B, but a gadget variant with the model number SM-G990B2 has just popped on the radar. On Samsung‘s own website, this isn’t a simple error. This allows us to confirm that Samsung is working on firmware for the SM-G990B2. In addition, the Bluetooth SIG just certified the gadget. There, we can see that it features Bluetooth 5.2, although the normal S21 FE only has Bluetooth 5.0.
The Samsung FE 4G will be powered by the Snapdragon 720G processor, have a 6.4-inch FHD+ 2340*1080 display, and be offered in 6/128 or 8/256GB storage options. It’s still confusing because the phone’s information appears in various listings in Belgium and the Netherlands.
