WhatsApp Now Supports DND!

The most current update of WhatsApp beta for iOS is now available on Beta Testers and is under development, WhatsApp now supports the ability to detect whether the do not disturb mode is enabled or not, and if then, Let’s glimpse how WhatsApp uses this report:

WhatsApp Now Supports Do Not Disturb Voice Calling

As you can see in the above screenshot when you receive a WhatsApp call and you have enabled do not disturb mode, there will be a new label available right within the call history, this will indicate that you have missed the call since it has been muted by the do not disturb mode.

Note that this detail is not captured with WhatsApp, it is only saved in the local database of the application itself. In extra, you should know that it is needed to use WhatsApp on at least iOS 15 since this is an iOS 15 API. It might come to WhatsApp Android too but we have to wait for this feature as it is under development.
WhatsApp is supporting the new API this week, and a new update is planned to be released on the App Store that will obtain the feature to the public.
